Eligibility Criteria:

1. Must be receiving maximum Centrelink benefits

2. Have not processed a claim within the last 24 months

3. Maximum cash saving (single: less than $500, couple: less than $1000)

To process a claim:

1. Must provide a Centrelink income statement showing assets

2. The income statement must be within the last 3 months 

3. Approval is subject to individual eligibility 

 

What are the glasses options available for you?

1. One pair of single vision glasses (distance or reading)

2. Two pairs of single vision  glasses (one for distance and one for reading)

3. One pair bifocal glasses

4. For progressive lenses, government subsidised discount on top of current discounts or promotions
